Energizer and National Geographic Team Up for 3rd Annual "Ultimate Photo Contest"

I don’t normally post information about photo contests because so many are huge rights grabs.  This one is a bit different.  It caught my eye because of several reasons.  First, the rights they require are in conjunction with publicizing the contest (not general use).  Second, the big prize is a nice one – a trip to two of the Greek Isles.  Third, the judge is Jim Richardson.  He is a National Geographic photographer and knows his stuff.  Past winners of contests are usually a good indication of the expectations of judges and what will happen with future competitions.  Previous winning images show that this contest is not about having the most expensive equipment or most exotic locale for your image.  This competition is truly about finding awesome images wherever you are!
